After over 12 years in the high-end event world, Jolene Greenbaum Peterson founded Laurel & Rose to create exceptional destination events around the world. Named after her two younger sisters, Hannah Laurel & Charlotte Rose, the company has carved a true place for itself in the Colorado and California wedding and event industries, as well as the destination wedding market.
A California native and current Colorado resident, Jolene’s eclectic background in luxury events (previously working with both celebrity planner Mindy Weiss Party Consultants and then Boulder-based Calluna Events), food & beverage management (as Special Event Manager for Los Angeles-based Patina Restaurant Group), high-end hospitality (at the iconic Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch in Avon, Colorado), and public relations (having graduated from USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism) allows her to thrive in any environment. New places, new people, and new design challenges are what spark Jolene’s interest. She loves connecting with clients and passionately pledges to listen wholeheartedly, think creatively, and bring genuine personality to each project she leads.
Armed with a true sense of style, culture, and humor, Jolene firmly believes in celebrating the special moments in life. She is a true lover of community, family, travel (anywhere and everywhere), good food, red wine, dark chocolate, the great outdoors, road trips, and craft projects. When she gets a moment away from her computer (rare), Jolene is happiest curled up on the couch with her husband, Chad, her gentle giant Bernese/Pyrenees mix, Greta, a half-read copy of Vanity Fair, some good tunes and a hot Americano.
