We focus on full-service planning, from idea conception to event execution.

Laurel & Rose is a full service event company offering planning, design, concierge-level services, and production. From intimate gatherings and private elopements to logistically challenging, large-scale build outs in remote locations, our passion is creating lively, meaningful experiences that balance immutable substance and style.

Our Team

Our team is composed of highly dedicated creative geniuses and logistical masterminds. We bring a boutique sensibility to our discerning clients. Our clients are our muse, and each event is inspired by what makes this life beautiful; from the everyday pleasures in entertaining at home, world travel, culinary experiences, art, music and fashion.

Jolene

OWNER + PRINCIPLE

A Southern California native and current Colorado resident, Jolene’s multi-faceted career in luxury events began with Mindy Weiss Party Consultants, who had produced her own Bat Mitzvah with a Springtime Art theme decades earlier.

New places, new people, and new design challenges are what lights Jolene up. She passionately pledges to listen wholeheartedly, think creatively, and bring genuine personality to each remarkable event.

Jolene is one of three sisters in a large, boisterous Jewish family, who never miss an opportunity to gather well; the husbands cooking and mixing cocktails, Jolene’s daughter Esther crafting placecards for a table that has been lovingly set. The warmth of the kitchen has permeated into every corner of the house, bustling with energy, laughter and stories.

It’s those experiences that continually remind Jolene of the power of togetherness.

Mariah

STUDIO MANAGER & LEAD PLANNER

After joining the Laurel & Rose team in May 2018, Mariah quickly knew that she was exactly where she was meant to be. She has worked her way up from "Day of" Event Assistant to Lead Event Planner, and continues to design and produce events all over the country and the world, with unwavering poise and passion.

With a Bachelor's degree in Special Event Management and Sales from Arizona State University, she has the foundational knowledge of event planning as well as extensive and varied experience in hospitality and food & beverage, including those important early days as an unflappable server. She has mastered the art of multitasking (especially with a new baby, Everett, at home), time management, and creative problem solving. Mariah is a calming presence during even the most high-stress situations and accepts every challenge with grace, poise, and the big, beautiful smile.

When Mariah is not onsite (or on airplanes) for events or meetings, she enjoys time at home with her husband and two little boys and is always ready for the next adventure. She is filled with joie de vivre and true lover of love.

Sarah

PRoduction & Design

Growing up in a massive Cajun family who gathered loudly and often, Sarah knew from the ripe age of ten that a career in the events and weddings industry was for her. She fostered her love for creating atmospheres studying interior design in college, and soon moved from Denver to Los Angeles to put her skills to use. Her resume spans from designing multi-million-dollar events and planning celebrity weddings, to coordinating fine-dining catering for thousands and producing headlining performances alongside event Technical Directors.

Sarah truly lives and breathes events, even meeting her husband while working the Grammy's 49th After Party. They currently reside in Portland, Oregon with their two children and two cats, chasing waterfalls every chance they get. Her favorite days are the rainy ones with Dark Wave tunes cranked, pulling fabric swatches and drafting CAD layouts for hours on end.
