A & D’s wedding weekend at Cedar Lakes Estate was an unforgettable four-day celebration that artfully combined personal touches, community spirit, and elevated fun—all against the backdrop of the Hudson Valley’s natural beauty.
Despite challenging weather, the weekend unfolded with intention and adaptability, beginning with an intimate farm-to-table welcome dinner and a cozy “Sips ‘n S’mores” party by the fire. Friday brought energy and laughter with a morning workout and an epic Color War, complete with cocktails, frozen treats, and family-friendly fun. A sudden downpour transformed the rehearsal dinner into a heartfelt indoor gathering, followed by a lively dueling pianos after-party. On Saturday, the skies cleared just in time for a breathtaking mountaintop ceremony and a New Orleans–inspired second line parade leading into a stunning tented reception filled with music, meaningful moments, and non-stop dancing. The night continued with a disco-inspired after-party in the barn and closed out Sunday with a delicious farewell brunch. A celebration for the ages, the weekend left guests with full hearts and unforgettable memories.
